Dave Green will be leading the popular practical photographic workshops 'introduction to digital photography' and 'photographing landscape...' from May 2010, including a special 1 day workshop at Appledore Visual Arts Festival

Every Tuesday throughout July and August 2010 Dave Green will be leading practical photographic workshops:
The Morning workshops are designed as a basic introduction to digital photography; learning to gain control over you camera, shutter speeds, aperture, iso, flash etc, setting it up for optimum quality under any given lighting, and making better pictures through composition.
The Afternoon sessions are based around photographing landscape and the natural environment. This workshop is designed for someone who has a basic knowledge of how to use their camera but now wants to experience the natural landscape in a personal and creative way.

There has also been a request to lead a workshop on ‘Photographing your artwork'. Dave has a wealth of knowledge and experience of photographing 2D artwork, jewellery and ceramics and is willing to pass this on to North Devon Arts members eager to improve their own image making camera skills. The half-day workshop will cost £25 per person and initially Dave's asking for expressions of interest so that a day, date and time can be agreed. Other artists interested in this workshop should contact Dave to express their interest and will be catered for if there is space.
